Materials

We believe that the beauty of jewellery goes beyond its design: it also lies in the materials it is made from and the way it is presented. That is why we work exclusively with suppliers who share our values and ensure ethical, sustainable, and respectful processes for both people and the planet. Every detail, from the silver to the packaging, is designed to reflect this commitment.

Sterling Silver

Sterling Silver is composed of 925 parts per thousand of pure silver and 75 parts per thousand of copper. This combination is not arbitrary: copper is added to enhance the hardness and mechanical strength of the metal, as pure silver (999) is too soft for most jewellery applications. The resulting alloy retains the bright appearance and characteristic colour of silver, but with a more stable structure that is less prone to deformation or scratching. This is the internationally recognised standard alloy for the manufacture of quality jewellery.

The Sterling Silver I use is largely sourced from Time&Timing, a company based in Barcelona that specialises in precious metals. It is associated with the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), which ensures that all its supply meets the highest ethical, social, and environmental standards.

This allows me to work with materials that are not only of high quality but also come from responsible processes, ensuring that every piece I create reflects respect for both people and the planet.

Sustainable packaging

The box in which you will receive your jewellery is made using a patented system by Packplek, based in Sant Vicenç de Torelló. It consists of a foldable poplar wood sleeve of premium quality combined with a natural kraft cardboard insert. The box is foldable and reusable: not only does it protect the piece during shipping, but it also serves as a jewellery case at home or, if you prefer, as storage for other items.

We want these small details to have a second life, providing usefulness beyond the moment you receive your jewellery. With a clearly sustainable focus, the foldable design significantly reduces storage and transport space, thereby lowering fuel consumption and pollution. Moreover, all materials are 100% recyclable, encouraging the boxes to enjoy a practical second life.

The wood is sourced exclusively from controlled plantations and forests, and for every tree cut down, another is planted, helping to preserve ecosystems and absorb CO₂. In this way, each box combines functionality, beauty, and environmental responsibility caring for the planet while protecting your jewellery.

Responsibly sourced paper

Our cards, bookmarks, and other printed materials are produced by Artyplan (Vic), a company that works with FSC certified paper, ensuring environmentally responsible forest management. Thanks to this certification, we can guarantee that the paper we use comes from a controlled and sustainable source.

In addition, Artyplan has a strong commitment to sustainability. Fully aware of the climate emergency, they implement their Green Print programme, applying best practices to reduce the environmental impact of their operations and deliver a more sustainable and responsible production.

A clear commitment to the environment and to you, who place your trust in our work.

Compostable stickers

Our adhesive labels are compostable and high-quality, printed by Divermat (Vic) with a matt finish and a natural look. They are made with sugarcane-based adhesive and carry the OK Compost certification in accordance with the European standard EN13432. This means they fully degrade in industrial composting without leaving toxic residues, transforming into CO₂, water, inorganic compounds, and biomass, ultimately producing safe compost for the environment.

They use compostable paper and PLA film. The paper is free from heavy metals and toxic substances, while the PLA film is derived from lactic acid obtained from maize, beetroot, and other starch-rich crops. All materials are certified with compostable adhesives, so you can rest assured that even the labels contribute to caring for the planet.

Organic cotton

To protect the jewellery inside the box, we use organic and regenerative cotton from Organic Cotton Colours (Santa Cristina d’Aro), which holds the OCCGuarantee® (certification of organic and sustainable cotton). This seal ensures full traceability from seed to fabric, following GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) criteria, respect for human rights, and regenerative and biodynamic practices. Their cotton comes from agricultural projects that promote soil quality, social impact, and transparency at every stage. This way, you know that the filling protecting your jewellery is not only soft and resilient but also rooted in an ethical and environmental philosophy.

Moreover, this cotton can be easily reused for other household projects, such as crafts, cushions, toy stuffing, or any other use you can think of, giving it a second life beyond protecting jewellery.
